What do most creditors think about bankruptcy?

You might be surprised that many creditors would actually prefer that you file bankruptcy vs. doing nothing. The reasoning is very simple - creditors spend millions each year in an effort to collect debts from insolvent debtors. If they cannot collect money from you they would much prefer to write off your debt and move on. Not all creditors agree but most collectors that understand the big picture will typcailly applaud your decision if they cannot collect more money from you.
